Weddings

True Image Studio works with each client on a personal basis. By developing a personal relationship with each client, we are able to bring your unique personality and the spirit of your wedding day to our work. Your wedding day is an important event with no opportunity for do-overs.

True Image Studio captures your wedding with a combination of both posed and candid photos, and pays special attention to details that you will want to remember.

True Image Studio offers a very hands-on experience from the time we have our  first consultation to the time that I deliver your wedding album to you. Through this process, you are treated as much more than a photo...

We feel that the best way to show you our wedding photography is to show you our end result, the wedding album. To see what we can capture, feel free to page through our sample wedding albums below.

Consultation

You will be meeting with owner and Irvine photographer Doug Catiller to get a feel for the True Image Studio approach to photographing your wedding. We will be discussing the locations and time schedule for your day, but most importantly, all of the elements and people that you would like us to make sure that we capture for you.

Wedding Prices

Price lists are provided during the consultation, but are not focused on. We believe you should know the prices up-front, but only after meeting with Doug for an initial consultation.

Once you are convinced you want to move forward, we will book your wedding photography. Your 50% retainer payment  will be processed at that time. We will email you a link to your client portal where you can review and sign a contract at your leisure. The session is not officially booked until the retainer is paid and the contract is signed.

Reviewing your photos

The first time you see your photos will be in a slideshow set to music, on Doug’s large screen TV at True Image Studio. Typically, only the bride and groom are present, but the rest of the family is more than welcome to sit down for some drinks, snacks and a wonderful journey back to your wedding day.

After your in-studio review, your photos will be online for review and ordering by anyone you share your photos with.

Album Design and Proofing

Doug will create your very own wedding proof page on TrueImageStudio.com. On this page you and your family will have all the information you need for your wedding photos:

  • An embedded slideshow with a summary of photos.
  • A link to your online wedding photo gallery
  • An embedded copy of your starting wedding album design
  • Other important  proofing notes.

The proofing process is very simple; we keep working on the album until you say it’s right. We design albums to tell a story about your wedding day. We design our own custom album templates and do not use any kind of “automatic” album design tools. Doug is personally involved in every album design and is constantly trying new design techniques. We believe that your album should be uniquely yours, and should be something that you love for the rest of your life; kinda like the person you’re marrying!

Each time the album is reviewed and changed, we will embed the new draft into your proofing page. You will then be able to compare that draft to all others and come to a final conclusion.

Once the album is final, we will place our order and you will typically receive your album about 4 to 6 weeks after we place the order.

Ordering Products

We make more than just albums. In fact, some of our wedding packages include framed wall portraits and digital products. Once the review process is completed, you can view the different print and album products we offer. You can feel free to do this in the studio or in the comfort of your home. Online ordering is also available for you and is convenient for any family members who are out of town who would like to order prints.
